As Commercial Vice President of AES Mexico, Central America and the Caribbean, Emiliano has led commercial efforts in the region, guaranteeing the company's regional growth through the development of innovative energy solutions for our clients while executing strategies aimed to minimize the risk profile and portfolio volatility.

In this role, Chaparro was in charge of different the areas such as: Fuels and Trading, Origination, Market Operations and Transformational Solutions, were he played a key role in the AES energy transformation.

Previously, Emiliano was Commercial Director for AES's businesses in Argentina and President of the Association of Electric Power Generators of the Argentine Republic (AGEERA).

Throughout more than 10 years of his career at AES, he encouraged several innovation projects and contributed to the development of processes improvement aimed at making business operations more efficient.

Emiliano is an Industrial Engineer from the Technological Institute of Buenos Aires. He also attended the Emerging Leaders Program at the Darden School of Business, University of Virginia.
