COP28 is the annual United Nations Climate Change Conference that brings together governments and other diverse stakeholder groups to discuss policies and solutions to limit global warming to 1.5 degrees and mitigate the most harmful effects of climate change. The conference serves to mobilize collective action to work toward meeting climate goals goals already in place and agree on ambitious new measures to accelerate decarbonization efforts.

The COP28 conference will be held Thursday, November 30 – Tuesday, December 12.
The cross-cutting themes of the COP28 program are: Technology and Innovation, Finance, Frontline Communities, and Inclusion. These themes represent critical areas where mobilization needs to occur and solutions need to be developed and scaled to reach our global shared goal of limiting global warming to 1.5 degrees. The COP28 agenda will explicitly include these themes through both content and speakers.
